Manager coy on his points target

David Moyes has refused to reveal his end of season points target when asked by reporters in his Good Friday virtual pre-match press conference.

The 57-year-old manager told reporters this afternoon by Zoom he was looking at the Premier League table but warned there are five or six teams in it so it could be difficult to call the end of season final standings.

He said West Ham need to take it game by game now adding that no one expected the club to be in the position they are in so he will try and do everything to stay in the same position and get the Hammers into Europe.

He added that getting into Europe will be great for the club and supporters but he fails he thinks the season can still be regarded good for the Irons and a high finish should be regarded as an added bonus.
