Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has confirmed that defenders Phil Jones, Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling will all be out for the fixture with West Ham this Saturday. Tyler Blackett will also miss out because of suspension.
“We have nine injuries and one suspension with Blackett, the younger players can have their chance now.
“Evans’ bone is bruised. Smalling left yesterday’s session because he had stiff legs. I won’t take risks with players.”
Speaking about the 5-3 loss by Leicester City last weekend, Van Gaal has accepted that his players are capable of making mistakes.
“I don’t think my players are robots. They are humans and make errors. It’s about overcoming things.”
One the youngsters who Van Gaal is considering drafting in is 19-year-old centre back Paddy McNair.
If we get done over by fergie kids i hope Allardyce turns in his proverbial grave.they are fergie kids so will be good enough.
UTD might just go all out attack knowing defence is useless, which could work for or against us, is Carrick injured ? Feruson often employed him at centre back when they had injuries.
