Match of the Day to return

It’s good to see football trying to find itself living in and looking ahead to a closer sense of normality!

Amid all the bleakest of warnings we need hope and encouragement to believe that before too long we will be back in a world where things make sense.

And the BBC’s decision to bring back Match of the Day to our weekend TV schedules is a great idea https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51976729

MOTD has been a part of our lives for so long that the news is heartening even though they obviously won’t be able to show any live football for the time being.

But even the famous signature tune and credits ahead of the package they are preparing will be great for those of us who love that programme fr all it’s controversy and faults.

The BBC has many faults and comes in for a lot of knocking but very well done on this one guys.
