Max Kilman: The Real Deal

Max Kilman’s performance against Aston Villa showcased his potential to become a defensive cornerstone for West Ham United. His composure on the ball, ability to read the game, and crucial interventions highlight his qualities as a modern centre-back.

His statistics from Saturday’s game were mightily impressive:

Kilman had 82 touches, made 5 progressive passes, 5 ball recoveries, completed 58 passes, 55 ball carries, made 7 clearances, 2 interceptions, 2 blocks and 2 tackles (Who Scored).

While there’s always room for improvement, particularly in terms of aerial dominance, Kilman’s overall performance is undoubtedly encouraging. His partnership with our other defenders will be crucial in solidifying West Ham’s defensive line.

If Kilman can maintain this level of performance consistently, he could establish himself as one of the Premier League’s top defenders. His ability to contribute to both defensive and offensive phases of play makes him a valuable asset to the team.

He is without doubt, fast -becoming  the real deal, perhaps on his way to emerging as the best centre-back we have seen in claret and blue for some time. He will have a long way to go to match the popularity of Ginger Pele James Collins or Craig Balon D’Awson – but he has started on the right lines.

hes played one competitive game for us , one in which we lost and should have been 3 down before the break . shall we just hold fire on the hyperbole. He had a decent game , as you would expect for 40 million.

Note everything has to be best/worst ever. It can just be fine.
