West Ham eye Manchester United ace

|

Various news outlets are reporting that West Ham are eyeing up Scott McTominay. The 26-year-old Manchester United star seems to be out of favour and you would have thought would be keen to join a team where he can feature regularly.

The Scottish international has lost his starting spot in the Manchester United side since the arrival of Erik ten Hag. He has had a relatively quiet season apart from his recent scoring spree, 5 goals in two weeks – considering that he had only scored 7 up to then, that it is pretty good going.

Ten Hag obviously sees him as a squad player, which has not been helped by the summer arrivals of Christian Eriksen and Casemiro

Whether or not David Moyes is around for next season, we will certainly lose Declan Rice in the summer. So we will have a clear vacancy in midfield for the Hammers to fill , and McTominay could be that replacement.

I rate him , he is a good player and could have a good career in London,

I think McTominay is a red card looking for a place to happen. But anyway, Newcastle are apparently also interested. And maybe Man U will decide not to sell after all. If he goes out on loan then I fear a repeat of the Lingard situation.

And what about Wan Bisaka. Is he also going to be sold or is it the same situation? He would be my preference for splashing the cash.
