Megabucks Newcastle eyeing Hammer – report

Megabucks Newcastle want Jarrod Bowen, according to a new report.

The Magpies are said to be interested in a deal to sign the West Ham star, who has been in electric form throughout this season.

Bowen has scored 14 goals and provided 11 assists in all competitions and seems almost certain to be called into the England squad before the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

90min now reports that there is interest from Newcastle in a deal to sign the winger in the summer.

Liverpool are also said to hold an interest in bringing Bowen to Anfield and there is now rival interest from Newcastle, if the report is to be believed.

Newcastle’s recruitment staff are said to have issued glowing reports about Bowen to boss Eddie Howe, who is a huge fan of the player.

Bowen is happy at West Ham and the club are prepared to offer him a new deal but it remains to be seen if Newcastle try to test the Irons’ resolve with a big bid in the summer.

  1. Must be a really tough job being a Newcastle scout – watch top players like Jarrod then recommend they buy him. Back in the room, no chance

  2. Not a hope. Also dont think the media quite realise how times are changing at West ham. Moyes is building a team -and we do not need to sell anyone money wise anymore. I really think the summer window will be busy and quality players will arrive to add to this growing side.
