Michail Antonio is better than Spurs

Michail Antonio’s last 37 Premier League starts for West Ham have resulted in 23 goals and 9 assists. That’s 0.86 G+A/game.

This season he has  5 goals and  3 assists from 5 Premier League games, that’s more than the whole Spurs team have managed in the top flight!

He jointly leads the Premier League top scorer table on five with Jamie Vardy with  Mohamed Salah, Ismaila Sarr and  Bruno Fernandes on four goals each.

In all competitions, Mikey has scored 6 goals in 6 appearances this season.

Not bad for a non-league player from Tooting who joined the Hammers in 2015 from Nottingham Forest for £7m,

Antonio was once famously deployed at right-back for the club under Slaven Bilic, a point Antonio was quick to reference in a post-match interview last month amid the backdrop of a raucous rendition of “I’m Forever Blowing Bubbles” from 3,000 travelling fans.
