Michu offered to Hammers for £4m

michuIn absence of any solid transfer news the Daily Star claim Swansea are prepared of offload Michu to West Ham for a cut down price of £4m when he returns to the Welsh club for pre-season training.

The 29-year-old forward spent last season on a disappointing loan at Napoli. A recurrence of an ankle injury limited Michu to just five goalless appearances.

Michu has two years remaining on his contract at Swansea but the player who once scored 22 goals in his first season with Swansea has never found that form again.  Last summer he asked to leave but it now appears Swansea are ready to offload a player once valued at £30m.

  1. He can work his games in with Carroll and if we can get one more and arrange there injuries into a schedule we get one whole player,
Or we can spend some money and buy one good one

  2. Waste of £4m, Daily Star making up stories or agents trying to big up their players. One of the most important seasons in our history & we are being linked to with him..
    No way..

  3. Terrible injury record and even worse attitude. No thanks.

  4. The term reject is overused but in this case he is a Swansea reject and I believe there was quite a number of reasons for it.

  5. Let’s see, thanks but no thanks…

  6. Michu?, no you chew, on this, ffs, who next? Hey Maradona, forget the FIFA job, get ya boots on

  7. I don’t know, offer £2.5M a good back up squad player. Bilic will sort him out
