Foot Mercato have reported that West Ham United defender Kurt Zouma is reportedly attracting interest from the Middle East, with Shabab Al-Ahli leading the chase for his signature.

The French center-back has seen his playing time reduced at West Ham following the arrival of Max Kilman. With the Hammers focused on rebuilding their squad under new manager Julen Lopetegui, Zouma’s future at the London Stadium is looking more and more  uncertain.

The potential move to Shabab Al-Ahli could be a lucrative option for the 29-year-old, with the club offering a significant financial package. However, the decision ultimately lies with Zouma, who will need to weigh up the opportunity to secure a lucrative contract against the desire to continue playing at the highest level of European football.

West Ham, on the other hand, could benefit from offloading Zouma, freeing up wages and potentially generating transfer funds to invest in other areas of the squad.

If Zouma goes it will not be a catastrophe. Pun intended.

It will be the transfer of the window if someone takes him off the wage roll as it will mean that we’re able to pay someone able to make a contribution.

‘He said’ that ‘they say’ that…….Kurt Zouma is off to a team we’ve never heard of in the Middle East. Que sera sera. I wish him well.

What we are fairly certain of is……that Zouma is unlikely to start a game for West Ham again.

Well it’s warm over there, so might be better for the joints and his wallet.

West Ham are a Championship level club who don’t belong in the Premiership.

Really? Where have you been the last three years? On the dark side of the moon.

I reiterated it accidentally but I’m not sad.
