Midfield ace extends his deal

|

Tomas Soucek has extended his Hammers loan deal until the end of the resumed season.

The loan star from Slavia Prague was fully expected to agree to the extension and was described as a Hammers insider to us earlier as “desperate to remain and play his part.”

CandH had revealed last Friday that the midfielder would be giving his decision “over the next few days and that was confirmed to us a few minutes ago.

So far he has made four appearances, playing in games against Brighton, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal.

And the 25-year-old played in behind-closed-doors training match at London Stadium over the weekend, and manager David Moyes expects him to be fully fit when competitive action returns later this month.

It means that with £4.5 million paid for the loan a further 16.5m euro is due should it become permanent which is dependent on the Hammers remaining in the Premier League.
