Robert Snodgrass was thrilled to see the team grab back to back win last night and is now ready to push on towards a run of top results.

Speaking to www.whufc.com after the victory over Cardiff City he said: “You know how much it means to the players getting back-to-back wins and we can’t wait for the Crystal Palace game.

“We want to try and drive forward to get three wins on the bounce. Winning breeds confidence.”

The Scotland international, received a standing ovation on 76 minutes and said: “I have just tried to do my best and do my job for the team the best I can and if I’m getting assists and goals that’s great but it’s about points.

“The fans need to see the work we are doing behind the scenes because we are working hard, the manager works us really hard so it’s great for him to start seeing the rewards as well and all that hard work leading to three points.

“We have a great squad here. I don’t want to get too carried away but it feels good to get back-to-back wins. We are driving forward to try and get in the top half of that table and try and mix it with the big boys.”

Claret and Hugh says: Robert Snodgrass represents the best of us. Everything we hear about him at a personal level is good and again last night he showed that he is a 100 per center when he pulls the shirt on. That he is now in a position to command a place on form is such a tribute to the guy and that he received such a great round of applause when subbed last night demonstrates the amazing turn around he has effected among the Hammers faithful. He received a nine from ten in our ratings last night in what was his best performance of the season so far. That’s a tribute to the man who as our rating  man wrote: ‘pressed the opposition, created numerous chances and two goals, providing very good deliveries from corners and free-kicks. That he has become a fans favourite is a quite remarkable tribute to the guy. He may never be Pele but for guts, determination, spirit he is an example to what is becoming a very good squad.
