Midfielder: “We will be a very big London club”

|

SongAlex Song wants to pull his boots back on big time as he closes in on a return to action.

But the midfielder is demonstrating a ot of patience and said:  “I’m getting better and don’t want anything to hurt my foot.”

Speaking to www.whufc.com he said: “It’s very hard because I was always playing and seeing your team-mates play, you want to be with them and help them but I can’t at the moment.

“It’s about getting my treatment done properly and then coming back to help the team.

“It’s good for me to be here, the future of the club is really big, in the next five years West Ham will be a very big club in London and I want to be part of the story.”

As the top club in London now we are a big club,
The best fans in the country,
Just going to get the best ground in the country,
It was like a sleeping dragon waiting to rise,
We are going to be impossible to stop
