Mohammed Kudus’ demands that killed the deal with Chelsea | Report

The controversy surrounding Ghanaian Mohammed Kudus’ £55 million sale to arch – rivals Tottenham Hotspur has already had reams written about it: What is not quite so well – aired is the fact that West Londoners Chelsea were, indeed, as per reports, interested in taking Kudus themselves: Player swaps were offered to West Ham which were rejected and the Blues considered a cash deal, as West Ham demanded.

In the end, Chelsea ‘passed’ on Kudus leaving Tottenham the only buyers in town. The Blues walked away for a very specific reason: The demand made by the player himself.

Reported today by thechelseachronicle.com, it was Kudus insistence that he stopped being a ‘winger’ that helped scupper Chelsea’s interest:

“The Ghanaian wanted to be used in a central position at Chelsea….According to journalist Simon Phillips, Kudus was keen to start there, but Chelsea envisioned him on the right. As a result of that and his price tag, Chelsea “pulled away” from a transfer.”

As they already have a pretty decent number 10 – one Mr Cole Palmer, Chelsea did not see Kudus taking Palmer’s place. Kudus’ insistence on playing centrally pushed the player to Tottenham and probably stopped any kind of a bidding war elevating his eventual sale price.

.Sounds like a sensible decision from the Blues who obviously rate Cole Palmer in a different league altogether to Mohammed Kudus. West Ham fans would most certainly agree with that.

I now have a secret yearning to see the Spuds’ manager Thomas Frank start Kudus as a left winger: Then Tottenham will find out for themselves what kind of a ‘team player’ they have just bought.

From the old Bobby Moore Upper to the Billy Bonds' stand these days - sometimes- have to admit I have not renewed my season ticket... I've been watching since '03 and a supporter since about 1970..
Favourite player - Dean Ashton: Still watch YouTube repeats of the Cup Final of 2006 hoping in vain that Shaka Hislop grows six inches and stops Steven Gerrard's injury time equaliser. Can tell I'm getting old knowing I saw both Mark Noble's debut and his last game at West Ham.
Pulling on a Claret and Blue replica shirt still makes me feel the same butterflies as when I was seven years old. Magic.

Bitter much? Maybe Kudus himself didn’t fancy a Chelsea transfer which makes sense why he’d come up with that demand. Lmfaooo!

Let’s move on from that @@@@head now. I don’t think we need to read anything else on Kudus. He’s a traitor by going to the spuds so let’s move on and concentrate on our squad

    👋 and good riddance.

Now that Kudus has shown his true colours, I have to say that WHU are probably better off without him. There is no doubt that he has some football skills, just as there is now no doubt that he has the mentality of a spoilt little boy. The problem for the future Kudus is that when things do not go his way, the spoilt little boy will once again rise to the surface, and having already played that card, his reputation as a man will face some questioning. The petulance is part of his character and he will not change because he will always think he is more important than any team. So relax hammers fans and watch the story play out. He will probably score against WHU at some point, but the real Kudus is the one that forgets who is paying his salary, and that character trait will always let him down.

Let that be the final piece on Kudus please…he isn’t our player anymore and he will find out soon enough that all that comes out of the spuds is hot air…they both over rate themselves and are well suited so lets do more about us and forget both of them until we spank them early in the season.

He’s gone, let’s move on and stop giving him air time

I will not miss his sulky disposition about the place I have to say. Good riddance to Kudus the Judas. I’m sure the advertising hoarding manufacturers will be relieved he’s gone too.
