More bad news as Liverpool’s Mane man returns

maneLiverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has said that Sadio Mane could feature against the Irons on Saturday evening.

The winger sustained was thought to be out of the picture following a hamstring injury he picked up whilst on international duty last month, which has seen him miss the club’s last  five fixtures in all competitions.

But of course in a week like this if there is going to be bad news for the Irons it can be expected and it seems his manager is ready to pitch him into the action if he is required.

Mane returned to first-team training on Thursday and Klopp said today that the player could be “ready for 20/25 minutes” of Liverpool’s showdown with the Hammers.

He exlained: “Sadio trained with the team for first time yesterday and looked really good,”

“We will see how he reacts. He could be ready for 20/25 minutes.”

  1. Even with a hamstring injury Mane is quicker than any of our lot.My feeling is this game will turn out badly for us.If the board stick with Bilic after this game you can look forward to next season back in the Championship.IMO
