More travel misery for Claret and Blue army

West Ham’s Claret and Blue away army are facing more challenges this morning with delayed and cancelled trains. Met Police football unit posted a message  to West Ham fans on social media saying “If your travelling to Swansea by rail that not looking particularly clever with the 7.45am delayed and the 8.45am cancelled follow National rail for updates”

Checking the National Rail website the 9.45am service is delayed and the 10.45am to Swansea has also been cancelled. Later services would not make kick off.

Meanwhile, other West Ham fans have posted photos of the M4 around Swindon saying some lanes remain closed because of snow creating longer journey times on the road.

Meanwhile, West Ham says on WHUFC.com “Swansea City are confident that Saturday’s Premier League fixture will go ahead as planned. As of Friday afternoon, the Liberty Stadium pitch was in perfect playing condition and there were no concerns regarding the stadium’s walkways and surrounding areas. With temperatures set to rise above freezing in South Wales and no further snow forecast on Saturday, the host club fully expect the match to kick-off as scheduled at 3pm

Supporters planning to travel to the Liberty Stadium, via road or rail, are urged to allow as much time as possible to complete their journeys. Further information can be found on the Highways Agency and National Rail websites and social media accounts.

The Club will also update supporters immediately should the situation change via our own website and social media channels.

On behalf of West Ham United, captain Mark Noble thanked fans for their peerless support, saying: “We would like to thank the Claret and Blue Army for their outstanding loyalty and continued support for the team, and wish all fans a safe trip to and from Saturday’s game.”

  1. Such a pity our **** owners don’t help out the supporters who are trying to get to Wales to give the team support so we stay up and keep lining the pockets of G&S… but we know they don’t care about the supports. Nope I’m not bitter 😉

  2. what would you like them to do

  3. They could have laid on extra coaches at a discount price ! Free even ! Lesser clubs have done it in the past ! That’s one thing they could have done ! Not rocket science is it , its thinking ahead ! Something that is a problem in the club without going into detail lol .

  4. This is very clearly the clubs fault. Karen Brady was seen doing an Indian rain dance knowing full well that the freezing cold weather would turn the rain to snow. She was trying to get back at fans for the march of shame. She did all she could to block roads with the snow. What a witch of a woman. The Daves didn’t do anything about it. They are billionaires and could easily afford to buy each away fan a snow plough so that the loyal fans can get to Swansea.

I couldn’t even get my car off the drive because of the snow. I know Lady Brady and the dildo brothers are somehow involved. Get out of my club….and my drive!

  5. Lol didn’t you know it’s the board’s fault it snowed. They should have hired snow ploughs to clear all the snow between London & Swansea.
Another thing to moan about on the pointless, sorry really important march next week.

    • Of course it was their fault, same as global warming, too many plastic bags, Insufficient numbers of police on the streets, and Donald Trumps hairdresser. 😂

  6. On the footballing front however, nice to see Alladerci doing so well at the Toffee’s just recorded their 5th away defeat on the trot, same sh.t different club !!

  7. Even the skunk refused a lift ! Brady tried to charge him petrol money !
He also said he didn’t want to see the match as the peshpoor defence and nobles leadership
And lack of bite in midfield will result in another thrashing by a even worse team on paper to ours ?
They ! The supporters should have stayed at home and saved a few quid to put in islas bucket on the march ! While all the snidey know all fek all warriors stay at home dressing up in beards brown nosing the board and putting noblame on them for the sorry plight were in !
Not a fekin clue what their watching or saying ! It stands out a mile !! 😎
