More worrying news for the Irons

West Ham’s medical staff will be very busy this week as they look after players who took some “very bad knock”s against Everton at the weekend.

The Hammers are keeping the names of players involved very much under wraps but they will be receiving treatment as the  match against Sheffield United approaches.

However, we have been told that Felipe Anderson – who was subbed at half time against the Toffees – is not among them.

That leaves us to assume that Manuel Pellegrini subbed the Brazilian because he was showing particularly poor form in the 2-0 defeat.

News of the various knocks was given to ClaretandHugh by an insider with the obvious rider that the hopes were all would be fit for the match against the Blades.

He explained in an e mail: “We did get a few very bad knocks at weekend. Hopefully they will recover for weekend.”

  1. Looks like the whole team where playing with severe knocks against Everton , including the Manager . Strange how everything has gone wrong during the International’s . Is it the various international mangers telling players something completely different to thier respective club managers or is it just that the teams have lost thier individual momentum .
The outstanding team to take reference from is West Ham Utd . It’s both incredible and unbelievable how we have lost our way . Next up Sheffield United who have the best defensive record in the division . Time for our self acclaimed formidable attacking talent to step up and also beyond time that Pelligrini had a look to consider wheather our starting line up and formation needs changing . For those who say we need two up front , I give my total support to their opinion .

  2. Don’t know how any of them got a knock they hardly went near the Everton players !

  3. If Knick’s against Everton were a worry then we’ll be steamrollered against Sheffield Utd! We need some backbone and players to find their pride before then
