Ravel Morrison was due to appear in Manchester Crown Court today on charges of common assault.

The two counts of common assault  relate to his ex-girlfriend Reah Mansoor, 19, and her mother, 39-year-old Parveen Mansoor.

An additional charge of harassment in relation to Reah Mansoor was added to the indictment during a brief court hearing earlier.

David Fish QC, representing Morrison, has indicated that he would be pleading not guilty to all three charges.
