Morrison: It’s all over!

RavelRavel Morrison’s West Ham days are finally coming to an end!

The midfielder has been told that he is free to find a club this January ahead of the summer window when his contract with the clubs is up..

Morrison has been training with the Hammers Under 21s since returning from a loan spell at Cardiff City.just before Christmas.

Prior to that he was of course with Queens Park Rangers on loan before returning to the Boleyn but failed to figure in Sam Allardyce’s plans.

The Hammers may be ready to sacrifice an upfront transfer fee and negotiate terms with clubs which could see the two sides agreeing match fees individually or after a certain number of games.

Sadly, the player’s time at the club has been littered with various incidents via the social networking system and off the field events but his first team spell last term has shown that he has talent to burn.

Now his future is very much in his own hands.

  1. It’s sad to see but inevitable – what a waste of talent!

  2. Just heard he kicked a superb bicycle kick goal with development squad against Tottenham.Yes an unfortunate waste of talent.

  3. Is this another completed part of Allardyce eradication of the talentted players at theclub so that Nolan looks better. What a great manager we have !

    • I’ve heard you spout some lunacy on here but this takes the biscuit. BFS getting rid of players to make one of his favorites look better. Are you;
      a) a wind up merchant
      b) a conspiracy theorist
      c) just a plonker?

  4. many premier league managers and media from tv pundits to newspaper journalists are saying allardyce is manager of the year. Evertons manager Martinez said it a few days back and the latest manager to say it is Swansea gary monk. So where’s the story on claret and Hugh? I think a good title would be something like “allardyce to win manager of the season”

  5. il ll put it up when I’m at my pc

  6. Wait till seasons over Hugh if you put that up now all your going to get is a lot of bad feelings towards BFS as usual,we are half way through the season out of one cup just in the other at moment and dropping down the league rapidly, if we finish in the top ten then I will be the first to say BFS has had a good season hopefully in his last season.

  7. It’s just manager quotes mate – have to report everything as far as I can regardless of people believing I have an agenda! No agenda just an opinion which I think is just about still allowed in this society LOL

  8. Rugby: That truly is the most ridiculous thing I’ve read on here. The kid’s impossible

    • Spot on. Doesn’t deserve any more chances and I’m tired of hearing people say he deserves more. He’s done precisely nothing to suggest he does; at the least he would have made a statement indicating he wants to knuckle down. A terrible advert for the club and I look forward to the day when he’s not our problem.

  9. Hugh. Why? Who has any flair left in the team. Ravel may have been hard work but for £3m a year, which to some of you may not be much, but for me is a ridiculous amount of money when you achieve so little. Surely as manager your remit extends beyond the results but also the squad and development. What can you honestly say Allardyce has done to bring Ravel on? When he was scoring more goals and having greater influence than Nolan ,he continued to play Nolan instead of Ravel! The lad did what was asked on the field and should have been the fulcrum of the side like Kane us doing at Spuds, but the truth is Allardyce is neither a good enough manager or man enough to do his full job. Ravel should have been a greater asset to the club than Allardyce ever will be but he can’t handle skilled players and only wants his style of player. The club will only thrive as a whole wh3n he’s gone.Hopefully his absence today means he’s in secret talks with someone else who wants him!

  10. Rugby, thre is no way he could have been a fulcrum to base a team around,he is too unreliable in life. What sane minded manager would invest so much time doing that.Ferguson had enough,Lee Clark almost sent him back,Slade was unimpressed & Harry never even played him in the biggest matches they had at the end of the season.I aint Sam & Nolans biggest fan by far,but this is just another example of you not engaging your brain before your fingers rampage across the keyboard & you push ‘post comment’ 😉
