Victor Moses is back training with the first team although he is not in the squad for Tuesday night Bilic told reporters today. He also described Sakho’s return from injury as ahead of schedule but would not put a date on his return.
Bilic told the assembled press at the pre match press conference “Victor is back training on Monday with us. He’s been out since Manchester United and he won’t be in the squad for Tuesday, but we will see how he is progressing and he’ll be back in the near future. Whether that is Newcastle or Man City we don’t know. Sakho is ahead of schedule, so he could be fit earlier than we thought. It will be a big thing for us when he comes back.”
Asked whether Slaven faces a selection headache of centre backs now that Reid is fit he replied:
“Yes. We have four quality players in that position, at centre back, and that’s a good thing for us as it gives us options. That is very important to have in the Premier League.”
If we defend properly we will have a good chance, they are a very good passing team but we gifted them 3 of the goals when they beat us at the start of the season. At home they will come out so if we can score first we could have an even better platform for counter attacking.
More good news and who ever plays tomorrow will not be second class,
Just hope Payet starts to pull the strings from the start
