Michail Antonio turned in a man of the match performance on his Irons debut against Stoke and the big question is whether he will hold his place after Victor Moses returns from injury.
All the signs are there that the £7 million signing has the pace and power to improve and make a serious impression on our season.
Here’s what ClaretandHugh readers @https://www.facebook.com/groups/363174467150521/?fref=nf think about the issue.
Richard OsesMoses whilst he is on loan, let Antonio have game time as a rotation player and get up to top scratch for next season
Graeme Taylor If we could keep Moses long term i’d like to have both but given he just signed a new deal at Chelsea I see it as unlikely.
Mike Tricker Moses has good/bad games.
Alternate as appropriate. When Moses is on form keep him on, where he isn’t – Antonio
Mike Wooldridge Antonio. Moses is over rated.
Marc Pullen Antonio he’s our player and looked decent at old Trafford and again on Saturday and have moses as back up
Mark Charlie Turner Why either or? Both seem to switch sides when playing so BOTH has to be an option
Niall McDonald Both and drop Zarate

Carol Combes Antonio.
Daniel Danielli Leach tricky one moses is better at dribbling and his touch is better antonio i think has a better shot pace and strength.
Tim Strudwick Antonio, he tracks back to defend, plus he’s still getting used to the PL can only get better.
Brian Neil Gay Moses – inconsistent can be brilliant. Antonio brilliant in Championship with game time could be brilliant and more consistent than Moses at Prem level. Give Antonio more chances.
It’s a good problem to have – both will have their moments – Moses is a big financial commitment from the Club and Antonio has come with a substantial fee.
Moses also would appear to have fitness problems, not only his current injury but he also very rarely plays a full match – he also has a terrible habit of giving the ball away too much – very frustrating.
It’s obviously a big step up for Antonio, he’s had to wait for his chance but now it’s come and let’s hope he can take it – Saturdays game was fine he looked dangerous, had a couple of half-chances, worked hard and did ok.
ANTONIO ALL DAY LONG !!!!!!
moses is overrated big time and is not consistent in his performances .
Moses does not defend and IMO is another jenks !!
I have not seen a game yet where moses has put the Willy’s up the opposition !!!
He is by observation a most overrated expensive negative for this club !!!
I for one can’t wait for him to go on his travels at seasons end !!!! And I can
guarantee he will not be playing at Chelsea !!! He will be farmed out again with the view of recuperating the money they spent when they bought him !!!
Left tissier got it spot on with his comments about moses !!!
Play Antonio and give the lad time to weave his magic he has in his locker !!
Give moses a sub role for when the bard gets tired after knocking his tabs out which moses is incapable of !!!! He is not a west ham type of player !!!
