Sead Haksabanovic is ready to impress David Moyes should he get an expected chance against Shrewsbury in tomorrow’s Third Round FA Cup Tie.
The official site has revealed that a number of youngsters will travel and ClaretandHugh can reveal several of those who could get their opportunity.
We understand that both Josh Cullen and Reece Burke – recalled from a Bolton loan spell – will travel along with Domingos Quina, Martin Samuelsen, Moses Makasi, Toni Martinez and of course Declan Rice.
However, Reece Oxford will haves to wait for his frst team chance as he has failed to recver from a sprained ankle sustained in training.
Joe Hart will be in goal and Manu Lanzini is likely to start as the manager will put out a very experimental side for the match which is being shown live on TV.
Speaking to the official site Haksabanovic said: “Hopefully I will play and I’m really excited about the prospect of showing what I can do, as it’s a big game for me and a big game for the Club
“I played my first game against Bolton and I was a bit nervous, but I think I did quite well, so it would be good to get another opportunity. It will be important for me to show the manager what I can, because I want to play. And if I want to play, I need to take that opportunity.”
It provides a great opportunity for the younger talent to demonstrate Thier stuff .
West Ham United are very obviously more concerned about Premiership survival . It’s not to say we belittle the FACup , it’s more a statement of fact that we have a smaller squad in depth than other Prem teams . We have a very good crop of youngsters all pushing for recognition and a future place in the First Team . Tomorrow is their big chance to take that big step forward and I can only wish them the very best . It does show though that our Academy is still a thing to be proud of . If this young team should win or earn a replay then large applauds are more than justified .
COYHAMMERS .
Burke has showed he is good enough at Championship level lets hope he is good enough to fill a slot in the cup, I think maybe he will be put in the right back slot as he has played there before. Josh Cullen in centre midfield alongside Obiang or Noble maybe, looking forward to it, whoever plays I hope they do themselves proud COYI !!!
