Moyes claims midfielder has show a form dip

Manager David Moyes believes Pablo Fornals has had a dip in form over recent games but is getting things back together.

Pablo has been a near regular in a busy season and some tiredness may have crept into his game – like one or two others – but the manager is happier with what he’s seen recently.
Speaking to reporters the boss said: I’ve got to say I think Pablo is starting to show signs of improving slightly. He made the goal at Kidderminster with a pass for Declan Rice, I thought the other night he was more influential in bits of the game, especially later on.
I think Pablo has had a bit of a dip from when he came back in November from the international break. I just hope that he is just starting to show small signs of improvements, but in terms of goals yes [we need more], it is a big thing and we need all of our attacking players to chip in and it would if Pablo could come up with a few goals for us.”
He added that Arthur Masuaku still has a knee problem despite surgery saying: “We were not sure whether he was going to need an operation.
We’re going to see if we can get through with an injection at the moment and see how it goes. He’s got a bit of floating bone in his knee which we’re managing so we’ll have to find out how he goes in the coming weeks and how he is.
