Moyes confirms Lanzini situation

|

David Moyes has confirmed that Manu Lanzini has an outside chance of making the line-up for tomorrow’s match against Southampton.

With the first game for three weeks in front of us the boss confirmed that the play maker had taken the knock but revealed that he had been running.

He said: “”We’ve got a problem with Lanzini’s knee, as he got a knock and missed Argentina’s second game. We’re assessing it.

He’s done a good bit of running so he’s got a chance. Ginge has got a bit of a hamstring, so we’re also assessing that.”

And as we reported yesterday he confirmed that Andy Carroll was seemingly on the way back adding: “Andy Carroll is improving and is getting closer to coming back.

Edi is back and Arthur is back after an eternity of his ban, but he deserved it.”
