Moyes confirms sell to buy window policy

West Ham manager David Moyes has confirmed a Hammers sell to buy window polo before we buy players

Claret and Hugh revealed several days ago that would be the case as we need to make squad slots available for new arrivals and the additional issue is that we need to raise cash to buy anyway.

Moyes confirms sell to buy window policy

Among those who look likely to be on their way over January are Ben Johnson. Conor Coventry, Aaron Cresswell, Said Benrahma and Danny Ings and Pablo Fornals should suitable offers be received.

Moyes has revealed the club is always looking to bring players in but has admitted in teh past that money will be a problem and the club has already told us that Fornals is more likely to be sold in the summer.

Despite reports elsewhere, a striker is no longer the highest on the priority list given the form of Mo Kudus and Jarrod Bowen but a left back and central defender may well be.

Commenting at his pre-match presser for the Brighton game, Moyes said: “We’re always looking to try and bring players in and add to the squad and push to get better.

I think we might be looking to lose one or two players before we bring anybody else in and a lot will  depend on players going to the African Nations and depend on injuries as well, which we have done very well with this season so far but just in the last day or two picked up a couple of small injuries.”
