Moyes could reignite interest in Italian striker

|

Torino striker, Andrea Belotti is the latest name to be linked to West Ham, after the Italian star reportedly turned down a new deal to stay at the Serie A club.

Previously the Hammers were favourites to sign the 27-year-old so it should come as no surprise that he has been linked again.

Belotti made six appearances during Italy’s successful European Championship this summer following a 13 goal and seven assist league campaign in 2020/21.

Capped on 39 occasions by Italy, the frontman could be perfect competition for Michail Antonio this coming season.

Valued at £31.5million and in the final 12 months of a deal in Turin it has been reported that we could be available for as little as £15million this summer to avoid the Italian club letting him go for free next summer.

Italian media suggests that Roma and Inter Milan have cooled their interest in the forward and that could allow David Moyes to make an enquiry on his price.
