Moyes could ring out the changes

After sticking with his unbeaten West Ham team David Moyes could be ready to make his first changes for the Southampton away game on Saturday.

Craig Dawson hasn’t had the best of starts and he could be argued cost us one of the two goals at the London Stadium in the 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace.

And it seems likely that Kurt Zouma could go straight into the defence demoting Dawson to the bench.

A change might also come in between the sticks with Alphonse Areola replacing Ɓukasz Fabianski after the London derby which was not his best game.

Areola should be given a chance to show what he can do but that might mean a long demotion to the bench for the 36-year-old West Ham veteran stopper if does well.

It’s hard to see anyone else being dropped from the starting lineup except through injury but as always it’s hard to predict when the manager might ring the changes.

West Ham remains in second place in the Premier League after three games. The Hammers could go top with a win if Palace does us a favor by turning over Spurs at Saturday lunchtime.
