Moyes counting his not so secret weapon at Brighton

Danny Ings could be the not so secret weapon that puts Brighton to the sword at the Amex Stadium tomorrow (Saturday)

The highly experienced striker was a vital difference between the Hammers and Nottingham Forest in last weekend’s 4-0 win at the London Stadium,

And everybody is hoping he can finally be the one who lays the Brighton bogey over us to rest as he returns to action.

He looks a definite starter with the manager admitting that Gianluca is not in the right place via his latest injury.

And with Mikey Antonio not looking the part at all over the last few games this is the Ings moment following his £15 million move from Aston Villa.

Moyes is clearly lined what he has seen so far and gave little doubt the 30 year old would be playing a part in tomorrow’s game.

He told reporters: “What I have seen from Danny is what I expected. And what I hope we will continue to get.

“Sometimes when strikers come into their final years [of their career] they know the job even better.

They know exactly how they should do it and where they should be. They have the nous to do it [even better]. He has scored goals throughout his career, and we hope he continues to do so.”
