Moyes decision: This man will have a very big say

|

West Ham are highly unlikely to make any moves on David Moyes’ position as manager until January for one very good reason – Mark Noble.

Nobes is a fan of the manager and as director of football will have a major say in all matters regarding arrivals and departures from the club

The board have made it very clear that is the case and with the former player starting work in his new role come January the manager’s position may well be under consideration should results not improve.

Nobes is no trigger happy individual so it will be a surprise if he gives the thumbs down to his former boss as one of his first acts in his new role.

Nobes is also ready to talk with Declan Rice – a big friend as well as former playing colleague – on his future and indicated in a recent interview that he hasn’t given up on the captain remaining at the club.

Now is the best time to replace manager, not the end of January. The new manager unable to bring in players, less time to turn thing around.. Sentiment can have no place in the decision.

I dont believe he will have any say. Remember the time we sold Diagana to West Brom for 18m. It was a board decision and at the time noble came out saying it was a crazy decision. It was a brilliant decision by the board. Noble should fave little ur no say but I can tell you who should have are the players. If the players are not happy and the Dan’s are not happy he has to go. I cannot believe he has not been sacked already. It is very difficult to understand. Terrible decision by the board if they prolong this and keep him. They risk everything by keeping him.
