Former West Ham boss David Moyes appeared on TalkSport today, revealing that he’s been fending off job offers. Despite the interest, Moyes seems content enjoying some downtime and has no immediate plans to return to management.
The Scotsman, recently linked with Sean Dyche’s position at Everton, even made a guest appearance on a Toffees fan podcast, referring to Goodison Park as “home.” However, with Everton’s recent uptick in form—unbeaten in their last three Premier League matches—Dyche’s job appears secure for now, leaving Moyes to bide his time.
Moyes has also been connected with the AC Milan managerial role, currently held by Paolo Fonseca, a former West Ham target. Fonseca’s 3-0 win over Lecce has given him some breathing room, though defeats to Bayer Leverkusen and Fiorentina have kept him under scrutiny.
When asked about his next steps, Moyes seemed at ease, enjoying his time off and focusing on improving his golf game.
“I haven’t made a decision yet, and I don’t feel pressured to. I’m just seeing how things unfold,” Moyes said. “I’ve had some very nice inquiries from clubs and even national teams, but I’m taking my time and we’ll see where it leads.”
Dave, I’d wait to the spring to take your latest offer, it’s not much fun collecting supermarket trollies in the winter.
AC Milan 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Classic……course you’ve had loads of offers
Why shouldn’t he have had offers, he did ok for us, maybe not the style but at least mixing it with the top PL teams and winning a trophy. Good luck to him, whatever he decides. Working on the golf sounds good to me.
How many top teams want a manager that plays small team tactics ? Answer : none . Keep it tight and nick a goal has it’s place near the bottom and in the lower leagues , but not every game .
Of course you’ve had Dave . I’ve also had every miss world entrant begging me for a date . he needs to stay relevant.
We never were worried Dave! We only pity the poor fans of whoever you manage next! Someone will have to start handing out telephone numbers for The Samaritans!
