Moyes eyes big reunion

David Moyes wants to appoint former Celtic scout Mick Doherty, according to a new report.

Glasgow World carries a report from The Scottish Sun, who claims that the Hammers boss is eyeing a reunion with Doherty.

Shock on the way for Moyes?

The pair worked together at Everton and Sunderland and Doherty has been credited with identifying such talents as England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and Ross Barkley, who also won caps for his country.

The Hammers have been reshaping their backroom team in recent months and it appears that Doherty could be the next to move to the London Stadium.

He is out of work currently after leaving the Scottish giants, and he is being tapped to come in and take on a leading scouting role.

Doherty spent five years with Celtic, working under Brendan Rodgers and Neil Lennon before departing under new boss Ange Postecoglou.

He could now be heading to the London Stadium in the coming weeks.
