Moyes eyes old favourite for free agent move!

FellainiDavid Moyes is believed to be monitoring Marouane Fellaini’s Manchester United position very closely this winter.

The former Everton midfielder is a free agent in the summer and remains a very close friend of the West Ham boss who is known to be looking at the Hammers midfield area as a key part of his reinforcement programme.

Jose Mourino has so far negotiated unsuccessfully on a new deal for the player and an Old Trafford stay now looks unlikely.

Moyes would love too bring the player to West Ham where he believes he needs some real aggression in an increasingly physical Premier League.

He claimed in his pre-Arsenal presser the the club may be open to a move for Jack Wilshere adding that whoever came in had to be ready to hit the ground running – a scenario certainly fitting Fellaini.

He was brought to England by Moyes from Standard Liege and despite a worrying disiplinary record “cleaned up his act” to become a firm Toffees favourite.

And on joining Manchester United Moyes went straight back to merseyside for the midfielder in a £27.5 million deadline day in 2013.

And it seems impossible to believe that with the close bonds both professionally and personally between the pair Moyes won’t won’t to make an inquiry for the 6ft 4in giant midfield

  1. Fair enough he’s not much of a footballer but he’s got the right degree of nastiness and the physique to be a real folk hero at West Ham.

    • Agree & can play as #10 or DM can score goals & setup actually really good at settling a longball one of the best.
Mou loves him & doesn’t want him to go. So want happen in Jan but free in summer could be a good move.

  2. Not sure about this one. His reputation precedes him as we all know, and right now he is a “protected player” because he plays for a protected club. But what if he comes to us ? We also know refs give out silly cards to us that they don’t or wouldn’t to “protected clubs”…
