Maxwel Cornet is ready to play in the first team if Moyes gives him the chance

Moyes faces all sorts of selection issues

David Moyes faces all sorts of selection issues  before the weekend match against Nottingham Forest given the Arsenal humiliation.

Any wrong moves such as we saw against Arsenal will help Forest , perhaps the most noticeable should Ben Johnson appear on the left wing and Maxwel Cornet  ignored.

Moyes faces all sorts of selection issues

Cornet scored his first goal for the Hammers against Sheffield United before being dropped after playing against Bournemouth and Manchester United.

If his form isn’t quite what we would hope for that’s down to him not having had sufficient games this season so hopefully he will get his chance.

A similar thing happened to another signing, Danny Ings, whose game was improving rapidly when he too was dropped. That of course left us with Jarrod Bowen leading the attack when clearly his best position is on the right side.

Meanwhile, CandH follower Hammerpete6 says: “We are now in a dangerous period with Moyes defiant stubbornness. Tim Steidten has moved to refresh our line up with superb young attacking talent, but manager Moyes having the  final say is over-riding.

So results and performances are now reflecting awful disjointed football. Moyes is more muddled, playing a right back at left wing whilst ignoring Cornet, his own signing.

Playing Tomas Soucek regardless, then bringing on Cresswell when the game is gone . Young players? Not a hope of appearance. So now we could lose Tim, and Paqueta and Kudus, and our young talent, as a price of keeping Moyes!”

Who plays in the back four after such a total drubbing and will Kalvin Phillips ne included in the team.

Difficult decisions he has to get right!

Anyone know of a petition to remove Moyes ? If it could significant numbers, it may apply visible pressure to the board.
