Moyes facing big selection dilemma

|

By Hughie Southon

David Moyes has some serious selection decisions to decide upon as the Hammers head into their quarter final Conference clash against Gent on Thursday evening.

This is going to be a much tougher affair than we have faced so far in the the competition but with Arsenal arriving at the London Stadium on Sunday the Hammers boss cannot afford to take too many risks with his line up.

The Premier League still remains the priority so quite how he decides which team he puts out clearly represents a dilemma.

One presumes that Areola will be back in goal and that Kehrer or Johnson will line up alongside Zouma and Ogbonna with Emerson on the left after Cresswell’s fine showing against Fulham at Craven Cottage.

It could well be that we will see Flynn Downes lining up alongside Lanzini and Soucek with Fornals in nehind Bowen and Ings.

CandH likely team: Areola, Kehrer, Zouma, Ogbonna, Emerson; Downes, Lanzini, Soucek; Fornals, Bowen, Ings.
