Moyes getting West Ham Way message

|

Make no mistake, the signing of Mo Kudus was a big statement of intent by David Moyes!

With Lucas Paqueta and the former Ajax star man in the team we really can expect to see a return to the West Ham Way.

And I, for one, congratulate David Moyes – and of course Tim Steidten – for bringing a man in who is being hailed by all the pundits as a truly magnificent signing and whom we signed in the face of very tough opposition.

There seems no doubt whatsoever that the manager’s ways are changing and he is even ready to admit it himself as he has done while talking to the London Evening Standard.

These truly are exciting times to be a Hammer as a result although we will all be watching carefully to see how Moyesie addresses the clash against City.

The opposition will have most of the possession of course but if we can break through as we have been doing through and hopefully with Kudus involved anything is possible tomrrow (Sat).

Talking to the London Evening Standard the boss said: “I do want to be more expansive

“And that’s why we signed Lucas Paqueta last season and Mohammed Kudus this summer.

“It’s not easy to change everything. We’ve tried different elements of our game and it hasn’t always worked.

“Last season, we didn’t score enough goals and we want to improve on that, but still ensuring we are hard to beat. That might not be what everyone wants to watch or hear, but ultimately the way we’ve played is part of the reason we’ve won a European trophy and are back in Europe.

“I don’t want to change those basics, but I do want us to develop and keep moving forward.”

It may well be he has indeed been noting fans comments and is taking that on board as well as messages from elsewhere.
