Moyes gives players a few days off

Manager David Moyes has given the squad a few days off ahead of the third round FA Cup replay against Bristol City next Tuesday.

Moyes gives players a few days off

We showed images last evening of Pablo Fornals in Dubai involved in fitness training alongside Jesse Lingard who, by the way, is reported by The Athletic NOT to be of interest to the Hammers.

A club insider revealed last night the manager had decided to give the players a midwinter break and that they should be back by the weekend.

Fair play to Fornals who is clearly keeping himself in trim for the game at Ashton Gate and it is to be hoped the remainder of the squad will be doing much the same of course as we fully expect they will be.

Claret and Hugh understands that Said Benrahma jumped on the Eurostar for France although the club maintain that there have been no enquiries or offers for the player  who has been linked with a move to Ligue One.

Lyon and Marseilles are the two clubs  are allegedly in the frame for the player but a Hammers source made it clear to us that there had been no contact with either of them.

However, the Hammers will entertain offers should they be made along with others for the likes of Ben Johnson, Pablo Fornals and Nayef Aguerd.
