Moyes gives Randolph update

David Moyes has explained the problem Darren Randolph suffered at the Etihad stadium.

Speaking during his post match the manager explained that Randolph has only just back from a thigh injury that kept him out for over a month or so and he has only been back in training a week or two and not fully match fit.

The gaffer explained he just felt something in his thigh in the second half again so asked Craig Dawson to take a goal kick but Randolph was able to finish the match without replacement.

David Martin was warming up on the sidelines and Nathan Trott was also on the bench with the manager taking no changes after the fiasco with Roberto last season. It is hoped that Fabianski who suffered from a swollen elbow after a fellow player stood on his arm in training will be back for the Leeds game on Monday 8th March

  1. Hope Fab is back always feels safer with him in goal, best wishes to Randolph too he did a decent job today.

  2. Saw the slow motion replay of one of his goal kicks and he has an awkward twisting motion on his standing leg. No wonder he has thigh problems.
