Moyes gives Zouma confirmation

David Moyes has confirmed that Kurt Zouma is ok for the Watford game.

ClaretandHugh revealed this morning that the central defender had decided against a scan on what appeared to be an injured knee.

However, he decided against the scan – as he had done surgery on the injury from which he made a rapid recovery earlier – and is available for selection.

Bow the manager has explained the circumstances from which he got the injury and thast it has responded well since Saturday.

He told reporters: “He’s OK. He twisted his knee a little bit, I think he stood on the ball and went over so we were a bit worried about him but he’s responded OK over the last few days and we expect him to be OK.”

The manager added that Lukasz Fabianski is likely to be back adding: “Lukasz has been the number one. Alphonse has played really well for us in the main.

He’s got a great record, not conceded too many goals so we’re really pleased with Alphonse but Lukasz is still number one.”

  1. The knee is the least of this pathetic little man’s problems. Can’t see how he would be welcome back now

  2. He ok, he kicked his cat across the kitchen so should be available if he’s not arrested! What is the world coming to when you first of all kick the cat and then allow someone to film it and then post it??

  3. Did kicking his cat count as a fitness test ?
