Moyes has given starting line-up clue
David Moyes has given a starting line-up clue for tonight’s game when mentioning forgotten man Thilo Kehrer in his Freiburg press conference and describing him as a brilliant man on the training pitch
Claret and Hugh has been told by its insiders that captain Kurt Zouma is an unlikely starter given his inability to play in successive games within a few days so it will be no big surprise to see Kehrer involved rather than Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The Greece international hasn’t exactly covered himself in glory during his few matches at the back, scoring an own goal against Brentford and being directly responsible for a couple of awful errors in other games.
He certainly doesn’t look the answer tonight in a game where the Freiburg strikers have been hitting the net and will undoubtedly be going for it in a big way as they bid to take top spot off us.
Thus, I would expect Kehrer to play alongside Aguerd unless by some outside chance the skipper can make it. In his likely absence we can expect the armband to be handed to Tomas Soucek although James Ward-Prowse has claims.
I see no place for Said Benrahma and Pablo Fornals was apparently thought to have been affected by the flu bug doing the rounds.
The Hammers may line up like this: Fabianski, Coufal, Kehrer, Aguerd, Emerson; Alvarez, Soucek, Ward-Prowse, Paqueta, Kudus, Bowen.
You must like Moyes lack of squad rotation, well its totally wrong and a total mis management of his squad. There is no point in adding players to our squad as they will never be used. How many strikers does this clown need. We already have Antonio, Bowen, Ings, Cornet and Mubana. I would not sign a striker for Moyes in this window. He has so many options. My team using the squad correctly would be Fab, Coufal, Kehrer, Aguerd, Emerson, Alvarez, Paquera, Fornals, Kudus, Cornet, Bowen/Mubana. Here are 5 or 6 changes that introduces freshness to the team. And its an exciting team, we are all fed up of watching soucek struggle game after gam, we are fed up with Moyes not having a go, we are all fed up not giving younsters and squad players a proper chance..
I didn’t say I liked anything/ Just reporting
