Moyes has high hopes for Hammers internationals

By Hughie Southon

David Moyes is looking for his Hammers international form into the game against Southamptob tomorrow (Sun).

He has obviously been watching the form of our boys foer their various countries and has been impressed with what he has seen.

Declan was particularly impressive for England – scoring and looking the absolute business in both games in the European Natioons Cup qualifiers.

And speaking to reporters Moyes made it clear that their are confidence issues the international Hammers can carry into the relegation clash.

He said: “How they play gives them confidence as well, undoubtedly. Declan played ever so well for England, I’m hoping we see the player which Declan is and how he performed for England.

We had Paqueta away playing and Nayef had a great result against Brazil so I’m hoping it gives him a lift as well. I’m hoping they do, they come back fresh. We’re going to be in a period now that’s pretty full-on for everyone.
