Moyes has two teams – this really is a new West Ham

West Ham United now have two teams at the club and it will become impossible to pick which one – or those among them – play against Manchester United  or any other club in the future.

It’s all been said about the performance against Dinamo Zagreb – we were magnificent and I can’t start to pick a  man of the match although Declan was outstanding.

What I do know is that the team we saw out there tonight would in all probability give United a game – a team without Coufal, Benrahma, Oggy and Dawson for example out there.

Great though the team was, there’s no guarantee any of them will be in Saturday’s as the other one remains unbeaten and they deserve the chance to continue that run.

Yes, Zouma and Diop in particular were outstanding but they can’t be guaranteed a place and for the first time in years that’s exactly where West Ham as a  club should be.

Mikey will be missing and I expect Bowen to play through the middle  but elsewhere? Who knows?

I’m as excited as it’s possible to be about this squad. They are magnificent and there’s nothing more to be said about Moysie other than he’s a magician to do what he’s done in such a short space of time.

This is a truly new West Ham – he is in total charge and my God it really is showing!

  1. 4 changes equals 2 teams?

come now, this squad is still very small to compete on 4 fronts. fingers crossed we can maintain 2 at least

lets see in december if we now have ‘2 teams’ lol

  2. Check really?
if fans like you are our future then really i despair.
i live to dream and lets be honest no one expected us to gain euro entry but here we are and look what happened. we looked comfortable
Moyse has us looking like a proper football club and i do not see any issues apart from the premier league which i am very sure will be sorted out in January. this club has gone through many changes over the passed few years good and the bad and and now hopefully will fulfil its destiny.
i am still proud to call myself a West Ham United fan
never slagged off any player nor ex player thats what loyalty is
also glad Noble had a shout for what time he was allowed given his last season so deserved

  3. Manuel Pellegrini only talked about a winning mentality.
    David Moyes is instilling it.
