Moyes hint on Irons hitman for Kiddy

Jarrod Bowen looks likely to take the centre forward role against Kidderminster at the Aggborough Stadium on Saturday in the fourth round FA Cup match.

Moyes made his opinion of the winger playing central striker very clear in a post-winter window interview on West Ham TV declaring you could have no better back up to Mikey Antonio who has been away on World Cup qualifying duty with Jamaica.

It seems unlikely that he will go with exciting under 23 Armstrong Okoflex who is having a top season with the Premier League 2 squad given he has talked of hoping to win a Cup “down the road.”

And a backroom staff member told us earlier that we can expect to see the manager put out a strong team in what represents a banana skin game to be shown on BBC One and streamed on iplayer at 12.30 pm.

We’d also expect to see Benrahma, Noble, Kral, Vlasic and Fornals to be among those who will take on the non league outfit.

  1. It will be interesting to see the team, starting with keeper I would expect Fab to start and Areola to start on Tuesday. I would say that Coufal, Zouma, Soucek, and Antonio will be rested so the team I think could start is Fab, Johnson, Dawson, Diop, Cresswell, Rice, Kral, Fornals, Vlasic, Benrahma and Bowen.

  2. Has to be a game for Noble and Kral I’d have thought. Save Rice and Souchek for Watford. Would like to see the boy Okoflex given a go in his preferred left wing role at some point.
