Moyes hoping in latest Forest update

|

The Irons face Nottingham Forest at the London Stadium tomorrow (Sun) with manager David Moyes hoping the squad has no injuries following the game against Olympiacos. Captain Kurt Zouma has been missing of course but the manager has indicated that may be ready for the game.

Forest, meanwhile, will definitely be without striker Chris Wood who has a hamstring injury that is anticipated to keep him out until after the international break. A second striker  Divock Origi has been dealing with a hip injury, and Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to miss the match via a thigh strain.

Midfielder Danilo is back in training along with Felipe and full-back Gonzalo Montiel who are fighting different injuries which could keep them out of action.

The match has been selected for broadcast in the United Kingdom by Sky Sports, with coverage starting at 1pm GMT. The action can also be followed via the club’s live blog on whufc.com and its  app and across our social media channels. Live audio commentary will be available in the UK on BBC Radio London and worldwide on our official website and app.

The Irons are looking to claim three points before the final international break of 2023, having lost 3-2 at Brentford last weekend. The Hammers sit 12th in the table on 14 points.

Forest, meanwhile, claimed a 2-0 victory over Aston Villa last time out; a win that moves Steve Cooper’s side up to 13th the Premier League after eleven matches played.

West Ham were the winners in this fixture last season though, picking up a 4-0 win over Forest at London Stadium back in February.
