David Moyes has been talking up Jarrod Bowen big time and quite rightly too!
Tghe Number 20 has been in sensational form so far this season and has become a club record holder at the same time.
He has scored in each of our four away games and must surely be putting himself back in line for a place in Gareth Southgate’s Three Lions squad.
He has probably become as important as Declan Rice was before leaving for Arsenal as the team prepare to consolidate their position in the league this weekend.
No disrespect to Dec but he may be even more important than the former skipper as he is a guy who can genuinely change games with goals and assists.
Moyes is not a manager who often gives high praise to a player so when he goes out of his way to do so then it very worthwhile to notice.
And speaking at the pre-Sheffield United presser he said: “Jarrod is beginning to become a player whose consistency and his stability within the team is ever so good.
If you remember when he was at Hull he was scoring ten or twelve goals over two or three years. It wasn’t just one year, he has started to score when he was at Hull, so we were always hoping when we got him that he could continue that.
In the main he has not disappointed us. He goes from strength to strength, continues to improve and hopefully he will keep scoring goals and making goals.”
Not sure i agree. I was at liverpool game. Until he scored he was very poor and i see that alot with him. Moyes obession with Bowen for me is way over the top. He is not consistent enough in his performances and that is not bring critical of him. Every player is the same but the manager must treat every player the same too and act without bias for the benefit of the team.
