David Moyes has been discussing the moves being made behind the scenes since the game was halted back in March and how he has communicated with the players.
The manager has attempted to leave no stone unturned in hideous circumstances to ensure that the players could be as on top of the situation as possible before their return to the training ground.
New technology has been important in ensuring they were made as aware of what was required of them with the board too being kept fully in the picture.
Commenting at https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2020/june/06-june/david-moyes-were-ready-footballs-return he made it as clearas possible that despite everything he and the squad will be ready for the games return.
The squad are now stepping up their routines daily to be 100 per cent ready for the match against Wolves and should we get way to the flier we hope for, things could start to look much better than where we left them in the late 1-0 defeat at Arsenal.
He said: “I’ve been in regular communication with the owners and Karren Brady, and we’ve had regular communication with the players because we wanted to keep them up-to-date.
We worked a lot – every Saturday morning we had a Zoom class together, which was interesting as well, and it was always good to see everybody.
We’re beyond that now and we’ve been back in regular training for a while. We started in ones, eventually got up to fours, and now we’re up to full contact and everybody’s in, so from that point of view, I wouldn’t say it’s normal, but it’s close to normal on the pitch.
Off the pitch is not normal and I don’t think we’re going to have normal for a long time, but I’ve got to say on the pitch at the moment it feels pretty good.”
