Moyes knows how quickly things may change

David Moyes knows how important it might become should the Hammers beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

It would put us equal on points with them and there is a potential to go above them on goal difference unlikely though that may be.

It could become a sign of how things can quickly change in the Premier League and commenting on the game Moyes told reporters:  “It is the early part of the season and teams can start well. Last year Arsenal started really poorly and went on a great run.

Newcastle last year looked as if they were dead and buried for long periods and amazingly came round so the Premier League, it depends when you get teams and when they are in good form and when they’re not.

We have not started as well as we’d like but we feel we are getting there now.”

And he was ready to discuss how the Blues may line up adding: “Aubameyang probably won’t be playing because he won’t have his clearance and he has a broken jaw as well, so I think you can probably talk about Fofana.

They are a bit like ourselves. There is a big transition going on. Obviously at Chelsea we are maybe not quite on that level and they have brought in a lot of players.

You never know when you are sort of rebuilding again, it takes time and I am sure Chelsea will be feeling that as well.
