Moyes likely to hand exciting kid a Burnley chance

West Ham’s exciting striking prospect Ademipo Odubeko may well find himself on the bench as back up to Mikey Antonio at the London Stadium tomorrow (Sat).

The former Manchester United Academy player who scored 35  goals in his last season with the club joined the Hammers in an attempt to hoist himself into Premier League football as soon as possible.

It’s believed that with so many strikers in front of him he decided to turn down a new deal at Old Trafford and is now first in line to become Antonio’s back-up – until the end of the transfer window at least.

The 18 year old made a brief appearance at the end of the match against Stockport and word is that he looks highly likely to be on the bench tomorrow.

West Ham will assess Lukasz Fabianski ahead of the game, but Odubeko could well feature at some stage.

  1. Nice one 🙂

  2. Yes!! Mikey somewhere near fit and the prospect of this young striker chomping at the bit is great news!! We’ve all seen it so often – if they are good enough, they are old enough. Give the boy a chance, we have 2 games in 4 days. COYI

    • Exactly. He looked the part for his cameo. Big lad too. Love to see him given a run.
Tarkowski v Antonio battle should be very entertaining.
