Moyes looks set to name strong team

David Moyes looks set to name a strong side against Silkeborg in Denmark tomorrow night (Thurs) as the Hammers look to extend their lead at the top of the Europa Conference B Group.

Having beaten Viborg – one place beneath the opponents tomorrow – the Hammers will be looking for another victory on foreign fields with just 750 Hammers in the 10,000 crowd.

The manager has revealed at today’s presser that both Craig Dawson and Aaron Cresswell have travelled which in itself suggests they will be involved at the back. He added too that Maxwel Cornet will be available for the game

However, Ben Johnson remains injured and has stayed in London for the game which will be played on an artificial pitch which itself may be influence the manager’s selection.

Discussing that the manager said that the manager said it has given him thoughts and that there were things that had to be respected in those circumstances.”

He said: “Craig Dawson and Aaron Cresswell have travelled. Ben Johnson hasn’t travelled.  We’ll have a look at Craig and Aaron and check out what’s best for them with the surfact and everything. They have done a bit of training.”

He explained the squad would train on ther artificial pitch this evening saying:“It will give the players an idea of how they see the ball rolling, the speed of it.  It’s something we have to work with and do the best we can.”

  1. Would be so wrong from a squad morale perspective.to go with the same players he is playing on sunday. Team should be on the lines Areola, Coufal, Kehrer, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Downes, Soucek, Cornet, Benrahma, Bowen, Scamacca. No need to play players like Fab, Zouma, Emerson, Rice, Fornals, Paqueta and Antonio. TRUST YOUR SQUAD

  2. Any news on Naughyy boy Ashby ?
Didn’t see him on any photos of first team training on OS.
