Moyes makes three changes

We are about to find out a lot about West Ham tonight with David Moyes making three changes to the team for the game against Brighton -Ben Johnson, Pablo Fornals and Saïd Benrahma

We are without Vladimír Coufal, Kurt Zouma, Thilo Kehrer, Lucas Paquetá and Michail Antonio  and of course  while Nayef Aguerd and Mohammed Kudus have departed to join up with Morocco and Ghana  for the CAF Africa Cup of Nations.

Zouma’s has a knee problem meaning Angelo Ogbonna again captains the sid partnered by Dinos Mavropanos at centre-back.

Alphonse Areola starts in goal, with Johnson deputising for the ill Coufal at right-back and making his first Premier League start since May last year in the process.  Emerson continues at left-back.

James Ward-Prowse  and Tomáš Souček aer in midfield with  Edson Álvarez.

The absences of Paquetá (calf) and Kudus (AFCON) give opportunities to Fornals and Benrahma, with the two UEFA Europa Conference League heroes flanking Jarrod Bowen in attack.
