Moyes misses out again on manager award

David Moyes has missed out again on the Premier League manager of the month.

The West Ham manager finished with a three-match unbeaten run as Moyes helped the club finish sixth, West Ham’s best finishing position since 1998/99, and qualify for the UEFA Europa League.

Jürgen Klopp has been named the Premier League Manager of the Month for May.

Moyes was also nominated for the Manager of the Month award in October, November and January losing out each time this season.

The 58-year-old has won ten Premier League Manager of the Month awards during his successful career, ranking him third behind only Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.

Last month Moyes was named Manager of the Year at the London Football Awards after turning West Ham from relegation contenders into European contenders.

Moyes has rebuilt his reputation since taking over in December 2019 and has West Ham had a real chance of a top-four finish in the Premier League.

    I love Wst Ham and have had a season ticket since 2016 and I think Moyes will get lots more awards when we sign Lingard on a permanent deal and finally get into the top 4 Moyes could even get manager of the year if we get into the top 4. #COYI #WESTHAMTILLIDIE #WE’LLBEINTHETOPFOUR2021/22

    I don’t think Moyes cares, the London one was well deserved but a while backed he was questioned about not gettin manger of month he should have I believe & he said I have individual awards, he has month year a number reform Everton. But he says he doesn’t care about them he wants to win team awards silver for Trophies…. Have to say I love to hear that. And though Antonio hit 10 again, Souček first time two players hit 10 In while, but can see that same spirit in the team Micky & Souček will pass when need too. Micky has wait 6 assits & Tomas 4 & our FBs top the charts but don’t hear about it glad it’s under radar. The spirit has been amazing & been in huge part to Moyes & I think Irvine, Nevin who is pick for #2, Pearce, Nolan been good with Youth. Hopefully we keep same spirit & win some team awards & silver next season ⚒
