Former West Ham Avram Grant managed to last 47 games for the Hammers winning 15 games drawing 12 and losing 20.
David Moyes has now managed 43 games for West Ham, winning 12, drawing 12 and losing 19.
Moyes has four games to get three wins and one loss to just to match Avram’s record.
Although performances have been much better against Liverpool and Arsenal, the harsh reality is they ended in losses with zero points.
Relegation isn’t avoided by well-meaning performances but with wins and draws with points on the table.
West Ham faces Wolves at the London Stadium this Sunday followed Spurs away, Chelsea at home then Newcastle away,
There are no easy games as the Hammers fight for survival.
The chance of Moyes winning three of these four games would seem slim on paper.
Moyes is said to be a £2m per year contract with West Ham with an initial 18 months, it is also reported to have been offered a £2m bonus for keeping the Hammers in the Premier League this season.
Agree with Steve – Moyes again drawn the short straw to get us out of the complete
mess created by Pellegrini.
He’s trying to do it with players that are not his, but although results haven’t gone our way
you can see the improved organisation and fitness levels.
We’ll stay up – give him a full pre-season and let him get his own players in and move some of the dead wood out – then he can be fairly judged.
Moyes is making a mess again,he was lucky last time that the 3 teams relegated played badly at the end.
This time his repeated negative attitude in games , just giving games away is ludicrous. It’s pathectic that other teams give it a go in every game and he throws in the towel.
His substitions are worse than Pellegrini. leaving it to late for a reactive outcome. A poor proacrtive attitude.
Soucek should of been on for Noble after 65 minutes. Giving him enough to time to involved and resting Noble.
Thats harsh, you are not comparing like for like. Moyes has had two short stints and had to pick up previous mangers mess. Grant had 47 matches in a row and was awful. I am certain if tou compare Moyes having 47 in a row his record would be better than Grants by a long way. We can all see the improvent over these few weeks he has been in charge.
